Each year, after the snow melts, residents of Salt Lake City, Utah, are mindful of the potential for flooding, especially when a rapid melt overwhelms the city’s streams and creeks. This year’s record-breaking snowmelt led Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson to declare a state of emergency on April 13.
When Utah’s Division of Emergency Management asked area residents to volunteer to fill sandbags, members of our sales and account executive teams in the Northwest stepped to the front of the line. Karen Arnold, regional account specialist; Janet Bronson, account executive; Annie Cooper, manager, account management; Nick Mirante, senior sales executive; Mike Moroney, senior director, sales enablement; Jeff Schmidt, manager, sales; Kristin Todd, lead account executive; Steve Valenti, chief revenue officer; Craig Westling, senior sales executive; Scott Wilkinson, vice president, customer experience; and Brandon Wray, regional vice president; all rolled up their sleeves and got busy filling sandbags.
Just as they work together daily to provide area residents with products that deliver a financial lifeline when needed, they pulled together as a team to make a meaningful difference to their community by helping to keep flood waters at bay.
